My name is Andreas Dählmann from Saxdorf, Brandenburg, Germany. When I started playing the guitar in 1985 I had been a CdeB-Fan for 4 years. I still claim that I was one of the first CdeB-Fans in Germany at all!!! :-)) The first song of CdeB I ever heard was "Waiting for the hurricane". I was quiet fascinated of the voice and the guitar! But at that time I didn't think about playing the guitar by myself. That came a few years later when I was already 21 years old.
Eastern Wind:
There are only three chords to play. Very easy for the left hand! :-) So I had the time to concentrate on the right-hand-picking when I learnd this song - it was one of the first songs incl. a picking that I had learnd. And I was "very proud" of me, because I could hear the chords without any help or pattern. Later I saw CdeB playing this song on TV - and I knew I was right. *veryproud* But his picking was another one. But I don't care!!!!
